In October, ERA will periodically be down for short periods of time for scheduled maintenance (e.g., an outage on 10/1 from 6-8pm). Routine outages will typically begin at 6pm in the evening, and only last for an hour or two. However, an extended outage is also scheduled for the weekend of October 20th in order to launch a Portal Upgrade to ERA Grants.
On Friday, October 19th at 6pm, ERA will go down. All modules of ERA will be inaccessible over the weekend (October 20 – 21).
In the event that the outage continues into Monday, October 22nd, any proposals and other actions due that day will be managed outside of the system. Based on the current proposal calendar, the impact should be minimal.
As usual, units are encouraged to submit proposals and post-submission materials well in advance of any upcoming deadlines. If there is something Research Operations can do to help ensure early submission, please contact your assigned Proposal GCO.
