IRB Basics training **PLEASE REGISTER**August 24th, 2021, 12 pm —1 pm – Learn everything you need to know about obtaining IRB approval for your human subjects research. Presenters will discuss the purpose and function of the IRB, requirements for approval, how to navigate the online submission system (ERA), and how to submit for review. A portion of the session will be devoted to audience Q&As and specific topics. This session is designed for faculty, staff, and student investigators who are new to the IRB review process or would like clarity on any aspects of IRB review. Meaningful Research: Effectively Engaging with Tribal Communities and Working for Tribal Lands **PLEASE REGISTER**September 24th, 2021, 8 am —10:15 am. The Office of American Indian Initiatives and the Knowledge Enterprise are pleased to invite you to attend a discussion on effectively engaging with tribal peoples and working on tribal lands. This morning seminar will feature faculty, researchers and administrators speaking to the history of ASU’s research enterprise and relationship with tribes, the state of Indian Country in Arizona, an examination of the cultural review process for working with tribes and on tribal land, and unique considerations for working with tribal populations.
