In the June release notes for the Pivot Funding Search Tool, a new functionality for groups was released. The new function, Public Groups, will allow users with administrative access to:
– Create groups visible to the all of ASU
– Users can self-subscribe to group
– Groups can be used to share funding opportunities related to a common theme
This functionality could be very useful for campus wide initiatives or centers that have many researchers collaborating on a certain topic area. For example, sustainability is a theme that many ASU researchers engage in. A group could be created to share sustainability funding opportunities. This group would then be visible and other interested researchers could join.
