The National Science Foundation (NSF) will be publishing the revised Proposal and Award Policies and Procedures Guide (PAPPG) for 2020 in the upcoming months (usually released in January/February).
One of the main changes to be aware of include NSF requiring the use of SciENcv: Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae to create NSF-compliant PDF versions of both, the Biosketch, and the Current & Pending documents. Other important things to keep in mind:
- While the use of SciEncv will be required upon implementation of the PAPPG (usually 90 days after the release of the updated PAPPG), proposers are encouraged to start using SciENcv now.
- Investigators can link their ORCiD to SciENcv to enable pre-population for the Biographical Sketch.
