9/17/2021 – ASU personnel are now able to log into NIH’s systems (eRA Commons, ASSIST, etc.) using their ASURITE ID and password by logging in under the InCommon Federated Account option.
New NIH users will still need to have an NIH account created for them by their Research Advancement (RA) team.
New and existing NIH account holders can refer to Accessing eRA Modules Via an InCommon Federated Account (or these steps) to enable signing in with ASU credentials. After activating, the user will no longer need to enter their NIH ID and password in order to login. (Note: users may need to clear browsing history after initially setting up Federated account login).
