The ERA Team is working to align budget field labels across ERA and Workday. The first round of label changes will be visible Tuesday morning, 5/14/2024. Please see below for details:
Synchronization of Inflation Rate Labels
On Budget ‘Grids’ SmartForms, each ‘Inflation Rate’ will now indicate which types of costs are impacted by the respective rate fields (see screenshots below). There is no change to the function or allowable use of these fields, and Research Advancement (RA) staff should continue to apply ASU’s mandatory escalation rates on personnel costs unless the sponsor has a published policy prohibiting escalations. Synchronization of Budget Categories on the ASU Financials Tab
The ASU Financials tab on the ERA Proposal and Budget workspaces are undergoing label changes to improve legibility, clarity, and align to the input description or the linked Workday Ledger Account.
