7/3/2023 – The ‘Young Investigators Program’ response option for ERA Funding Proposal (FP) smartform 2.3, Question 1.0, Identify a Special Program was recently revised. Previously, the response option was specific to the DARPA Young Faculty Award (YFA). ASU would now like to capture young investigator proposal data more broadly.
Moving forward, the ‘Young Investigator Program’ option should be checked when the funding opportunity falls under an early career development program from any type of sponsor (federal or non-federal). Examples include: young investigator programs, young faculty awards, early career research programs, early independence awards, etc.
