Research Academy Website Update

Exciting news as the Research Academy website will be launching a large update in January 2025! Watch the 6-minute site demo here.

Research Academy is designed to link you to the KE resources, tools, and training you need at the moment you need them. The site provides researchers and research support staff with many resources, including a listing of upcoming professional development events and a library of online training modules for you to explore.

New Site Highlights:

  • A  new branded website, that aligns with other ASU websites.
  • Public access – ASURITE login is no longer needed to access or share basic information.
  • Courses (onboarding materials and optional professional development items) will be available as self-subscribe Canvas courses which offer immediate access after subscription.
  • Courses have better navigation and search tools to help you find the information you need quickly.
  • An Event catalog that is easier to browse and share. Events will utilize common platforms such as ASU Events and the same registration platform as used by KE Events. (Some events may even utilize platforms such as Zoom registrations, based on event host needs.)
  • A Resources tab that holds professional development options available to any ASU staff or faculty (and most students) such as curated LinkedIn Learning playlists, CITI Program course and webinar access, the GRASP video library, and a catalog of research-focused microlearning options that can be completed in under a half hour.
  • Course stakeholders/owners will be able access course subscriptions, completions, and feedback more easily.

As a reminder, users may need to update bookmarks as course links and pages will not auto-redirect to new Canvas locations.

Need to retrieve course or event history for your current Research Academy account before the transition occurs? The site demo video has instructions on how to retrieve this information quickly.
