Guidelines for Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Research have been published on the Research Integrity website. Before starting any research project that involves AI, PIs are strongly encouraged to discuss appropriateness of using the technology with their co-investigators, collaborators, and field experts. Additional key considerations are included in the Guidelines for any PIs who decide to use generative AI in their research.
