Grants.gov will be down from Saturday, October 28th beginning at 12:01 AM ET and ending Tuesday, October 31st at 11:59 PM ET.
Any proposals due October 30-31 that require Grants.gov [or ERA System-to-System (S2S)] submission, must be submitted by Friday, October 27th (or sooner, if the updated Grants.gov funding opportunity deadline dictates an earlier submission deadline). Double-check for funding opportunity announcement (FOA) updates to watch for any deadline changes due to the outage.
Early submission (by 10/27) of any Grants.gov or S2S proposals due November 1 – 3 is also recommended, if possible.
Once the Grants.gov system is offline (10/28 – 10/31), the following will be affected in the ERA SF424 feature for S2S proposals:
- Downloading and updating opportunities
- Background jobs that update opportunities
- Submitting SF424 applications to Grants.gov
- Status updates on submissions from Grants.gov
To be prepared for Grants.gov’s extended downtime, please download any needed FOAs from Grants.gov in advance, and set up any upcoming S2S FPs (including completion of FP SmartForm 1.4.1, ensuring the correct Grants.gov FOA has been pulled in).
